As the door snapped shut, I threw myself back on the bed with a sigh.
“Dragons!” I muttered exasperatedly, then tore my nightclothes out of my bag and got prepared for sleep.
The dragon-kin had not returned by the time I blew out the candles and crawled into bed. I curled up in the comforter, reveling in the softness of the mattress. Just as sleep was pulling me under, my ears picked up the sound of a giggle from the room next door.
“Males,” I hissed.
I soon fell asleep despite the thoughts chattering in my head.
When I next opened my eyes, the half-light of morning was streaming through a crack in the curtains. I tried my best to ignore it. After a few minutes of pulling the covers over my head to block the retina-harassing light, I found that it made me much too warm. I sat up and corrected the shades.

What felt like a few minutes later but must have been hours, there was movement in the room. I turned over, quite expecting to find an innkeeper rifling through my things again, but it was not the case.
My eyes caught the sight of naked flesh and I instinctively looked away. I nearly yelled at the indecency of the dragon-kin walking around in naught but his trousers, but my tongue caught. Biting my lip, I could not help but let my eyes return to
